Last Thursday was a very exciting day for Chris and I. All three of our kids made the Honor Roll at Riverside Prep. Here's Riley with his certificate after the ceremony. Good job, Ri-guy!! He loves school!
Kelsey has made honor roll for two consecutive semesters now. But this time around happened to be more exciting. She made Principal's Honor Roll. Her GPA is 3.88. For some parents, this might not be a big deal, but for our family, it's HUGE! Kelsey spent so many years struggling with school work, going through different tests for a learning disability and nights of endless crying because her frustration level was so high due to not understanding what was being taught! Kelsey has since excelled thanks to Riverside Prep. The class sizes are smaller and most teachers really do care about their students understanding and excelling. This school has been an answer to our prayers. We love to hear that Kelsey looks forward to attending school every day!
And then there's Ethan. We are at a loss for words. He is such a hard worker and always strives to do his best. Ethan made the Superintendant's Honor Roll because his GPA is above 4.0. He always tries his best and is not afraid to ask a question if he doesn't understand. He too loves going to school and enjoys all of his teachers.
We are so proud of all three of them!! We love you guys!!!

And you should be very proud!! Way to go, kids! I'm so thankful they have such awesome parents that help them learn and support their desires to do well. What a blessing to be able to attend a school like they have. I'm so proud of you, Kelsey, Ethan and Riley! Love you guys very much!

Hey there stranger!!! I found your blog through Liz and Louis...then Amanda...took a little time but totally worth it!!! I love it, your kids are getting so big. We really need to make a trip down there to see you guys! Kels is getting so big (as in old) she is BEAUTIFULL!!! Looks so much like her mom!
